Candid Communications Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through be-candid.com. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16232752. What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, your email address and the message you write. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
Why we use it
We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to discuss that work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell it.
Who processes it
The form is sent by email through our web host, GoDaddy, to our business mailbox. Fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@be-candid.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
